Deodorant Brands For Women

One of the things that made me more excited to pass on to China, was to see that, unlike our European neighbors, people on this side the world are also engaged in healthy activity for a nap.

It's funny how so slight a detail like this can make you find common ground with people so different from you in so many ways, and that you feel somehow at home on the other side of the planet .

But, of course, nap in China is different from English.

For starters, the Chinese have developed the ability to sleep until on a broomstick, making naps are rather easier to implement.

Besides, workers of enterprises, with an hour for lunch, strive to complete your meal fast to return to the office and catch a nap, because in addition they make the healthy version and sleep half an hour. As I said, back in the office, the Chinese simply cross their arms on the table and rely on their hands, and maybe so, without more, go to sleep. Is very common to see some Chinese with their tables adorned with stuffed animals, or even a pillow using a pillow for this function.

Because of this practice which I was a little shocking the first time I saw the offices of Chinese enterprises become extremely quiet to that of 12:30 or 1, since half the staff is quietly lying on the table taking a nap.

But outside the office, theme it gets a little more complicated. Yet the Chinese do not allow themselves to be intimidated by the adversities of the environment. If there is a table nearby, or else the counter of the store or restaurant where they work, make the tactical office and head resting idly, but huddle in any corner, they find and to sleep!

The other day I was going through Gulou, Drum Tower, departure point for tours to rickshaw trip (these bikes with Chinese cart pulled by pedaling) which give you a tour of the hutongs around Hou Hai and when I met with this.

like it or not, though it seems somewhat cumbersome, is more or less comfortable. But few days later, returning to my home, I found these two workers, without thinking twice had found a way, to my perception a bit uncomfortable, do not miss a nap.

And everything is not to lose the good habits!

Shorties "The Chinese? Climb the Wall

generalize when talking about the Chinese, is more than risky. It is understandable that in a country of 1300 million souls and an area larger than Europe, making an observation fact, tends to be less accurate.

Still, in the West have the conception that Chinese are short ¨ ¨
Like any generalization, this point is wrong, but in this case, as in many others, the topic has a reasonable explanation.

I have spoken on other occasions the major differences between the Chinese (because that the Chinese are all equal is another lie as big as the cathedral of Burgos, or using a local element, such as Tiananmen Square) Anyway, there are many differences between residents of northern and southern China, starting with their customs, their food, their features, appearance, and of course, its height.

The northern Chinese are quite higher than average, the southern Chinese, and it is this fact that has led to misleading the people across the world.

turns out that most Chinese who have come to the European or American countries for decades, have proved to be of southern China, by what you can say that they are usually limited stature. And so we have the perception that the Chinese are short.

But the Chinese and the West coming from the south, not north? here comes into play cultural uniqueness and tradition of China.

According to custom in northern China, the children should not embark on long journeys until their parents have died, since otherwise the uncertainty and stem the absence of worry and be sad to parents. Therefore, the northern Chinese past, avoided travel long distances.

To conclude this topic today I bring uncertain history recently lato found the man in the world.

The BBC published this April bla history was, by chance, found the broad man in the world.

Zhao Liang came to a hospital for treatment unalesión Tianjin in the foot, when the doctors realized they measured was higher than the current man considered the highest in the world by the Guinness Book of Records.

Zhao Liang Y is measured no more and no less than 2.46 meters!

This 27 year old Chinese takes out about 10 cm to Bao Xishun, curiously another Chinese citizen with 2.36 meters tall was recognized as the world's highest by the committee Guinness in 2005.

I leave you with a comparative table of the BBC.

This chart, which compares the world's tallest man with the average Chinese Bao Xishun
(2.36): the man recognized by the Guinness lato
Zhao Liang (2.46): the newly discovered tallest man, but pending verification by the Guinness
Robert Pershing (2.72): the highest in the history
And the Chinese media that measured 1.73 m

A man is not a real man does not board the great wall. These words of Mao presided over the entrance to the Chinese national monument in its passage through Badaling, the most touristy section of the wall in Beijing.

Whether or no, I think that the Chinese have been very easy for that to become a real man, given the length of the wall, which until now was estimated measuring some 6,300 km

I say so far, because a recent study that has used the technological advances of our era, has found that the wall is considerably longer than that thought. Well, much longer, you will think of you, have discovered a couple of miles. Well, you gentlemen, infrared and GPS have uncovered 2,551 miles of wall that remained hidden to national pride.

with what the current length of the monument put in 8,851 miles.

But, as you have anonymity these more than 2,500 km? Well, apparently, discovered sections belonging to the Ming Dynasty (which ruled China from 1368 to 1644) had been hidden with the passage of time and sandstorms.

But we know that the so-called Great Wall, or as you know the Chinese "The long wall of 10,000 Li (China as equivalent half a kilometer) and was proclaimed a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1987, is de facto a single piece, but a series of walls and barricades of earth began to be built in the 5th century BC and who joined for the first time under the rule of Qin Shi Huang around the year 220 AD, according to the BBC points in his article devoted to finding .

the wall funny thing is that although a wall just as the landscape changes. I've seen her in several tourist sections of Beijing, well restauraditas for any tourist to break an ankle, in Qinhuangdao, north of the capital, where the wall meets the sea, and on the outskirts of Beijing, after a 7-hour trek through mountains and stunning settings, where all that remains of the once magnificent architectural icon in a couple of crumbling towers and a pile of stones that were once recall the link between the towers.

The Great Wall on a wild stretch in the mountains

But where I see I always returns to mind the greatness of the work, not for its beauty, because in the background is a wall, but the thought that when these people on this side of the world was dying to build such a barrier, in Europe we were still in diapers.

But back to the discovery itself, giving some reason to Mao, with more than 8,000 miles available, indeed the man who does not rise to the wall Not that it is not a real man, is it's a downright lazy.

work

With the huge population of China, the government is hard work having to provide jobs to everyone. In fact the famous and needed 8% growth, at least, the leaders say the country needs, is that this is the figure, that could continue to create jobs for people and can not be unhappy keep up the much coveted and virtual harmonious society.

But having to provide jobs to 1,300 million people, not everyone gets work desirable.

For example, this week I've seen every day on the subway to a boy, and I say that boy was not more than 25 years, whose work is simply standing next to a straight arm's length indicating only the gesture, which can be lowered around the platforms on the line 10. Work exactly the same information that makes the cheap and has a perpetual sign, right above your head, but instead of an arrow, he uses his arm. Of course, the poster does not get tired, but his arm themselves, so it has developed the technique of supporting the arm on the railing of the stairs for their hard work is less tiring. And no jokes, stand at arm's length and 8 hours have to be extremely weary, bored well.

Another boy of about the same age, has a slightly more complex job: standing next to an escalator and armed with a megaphone its main task is to teach the public transport users in Beijing, climb the stairs to the right part is to stand and raise the left foot. And incredibly, the Chinese are not yet clear. It is more common than climbing a ladder of this kind, and that both sides are overwhelmed with people. So this poor boy must be very attentive, and every time someone steps on the left side of the ladder, you have to take the megaphone and shout something like "part of the left is to continue to rise, to stay standing right next move. "

Something similar happened in the months leading up to the Olympics In the months prior to the Olympics Underground stations and bus were flanked by employees dressed in a flashy yellow uniform, also hit a megaphone, trying to educate people to let out before entering, in the case of metro, and to learn to do and respect the queue on both public transport. I must say that although there is still some one ready and some other clueless, it seems they will get used to it.

And is that the Games have brought many changes to China's capital. For example, the useless scanners for which you must pass the bag every time you enter the subway and I talked to a few months ago. The installed for the Olympic Games, for security reasons, but once the sporting event must have thought "Well, since we bought, we will amortize" and who have left there. Moreover, each machine is at least 4 jobs, and that each has two security guards behind the screen and two on each access of the metro to make sure people obey and spend their belongings in the unit.

Anyway, once you've created 4 jobs for each machine at every subway entrance and multiplied that amount by the number of stops around the public transport network that is easier to keep them in their work, they throw them the street and having to create, and invent, new additional posts.

The truth is that it is a play around, because in addition to keeping people employed, give the virtual sense of security. I say virtual, because in my opinion this measure is only for show and lacks any real effectiveness.

For example, the other day I got this message from a friend of mine:
"It is unbelievable with all these scanners (in meters), and yet I have a guy standing next to me wearing a giant saw hand. What are scanning then? "

And I've already learned that not even need to go through the scanner if you want, I go through the side of a the guards at the door, open the bag and showed it, she looks inside reluctantly and tells me go with disdain. I tend to carry bags large enough, and believe me with the quick and selfless you check out the sleepy guard, could lead in the bottom of the bag a load of dynamite that nobody would realize.

But all is by not sending all these people to stop!

How Cut Chudidaar Pajaami Image

Multitudes Weddings Group Announce Storm

While it is true that in all countries, especially in Spain, always form small jams on the roads when there is an accident because reverse drivers driven by a morbid curiosity that I do not understand, decelerate to look to see what happened, so is that the crowds of onlookers in China are not limited to such situations.

The Chinese are ... gossips and say ... enough about something going on in the street immediately formed a circle of about 15 or 20 people watching closely to see what happens.

In a junction near my home, weekends always standing one or two police cars for routine checks. Well, those same hours if there is a large group of spectators around, like the one on the couch at home watching the soap opera of the day.

But one day, I went there, and there was an elderly gentleman, who not content with their passive role of spectator decided to take action and participate in the control. Thus it was that when the police left the passenger record and started to look at the roles of conductor, Mr., went to the open car door and got half his body inside to see if there was, I suppose, something that I had missed the agent.

Since this, I have witnessed many amazing pictures. Another day in a Hutong, a car had collided with a cycles, and say hit and not hit because the bicyclists in question was standing at the mouth throwing spears against the driver of the vehicle and there, around a crowd waiting that police arrived. Keep in mind that China is not like in Spain, when a mild shock, remove the cars on the shoulder, in China, no matter how slight the coup, the vehicles can not move an inch until bequeath the police and decide who is to blame.

But the funny thing is that the Chinese do not look from afar, no. They come much, much, much that sometimes it is not possible to see what happens in the middle of the tumult.

Today for example there has been an accident on a street near Gulou, the Drum Tower in the heart of the city. Apparently, from what I have seen in situ, a car, jumped a fence at an intersection, getting in way hand and crashing into another that came flowing through the right side of the road.

As usual a lot of passers-by had stopped to watch the scene. In fact, at this time someone just called me to say that right now, hours later, the second car being removed and there is still a group of people gathered around the crane police.

But I think the best or most amazing thing I saw was one that occurred in the same downtown street. Walking on the sidewalk, when suddenly I began to see a lot of amazing people bet on side of the road, stuck to the windows of shops, with the cars standing on the sidings, sitting on their bikes in the middle of the road, come on, missing a man shouting that the "bubble gum, sunflower seeds, candy, popcorn. "

Such was the amount of people I thought I would stop by a parade or something, because there was nothing, no accident, nor quarrel, nor anything unusual.

But suddenly, circulating in the opposite direction at high speed with sirens blaring, there are 4 police cars and a SWAT van (with machine guns and riot uniform creepy included), they all fall vehicle and head towards the door of McDonalds where they get the arm of a middle-aged gentleman, well dressed in his trousers and his pole clamp, and take it to a taxi stand in the street where the driver is shouting something incomprehensible to me.

course the scene was Hollywood movie but there was no camera. I, trying to digest the experience, in that moment I thought several things. 1, How did all these people that something would happen, "but I assumed I had missed the first part of the story, and 2 º SWAT Both SMG and siren so that man did not even put resistance?

That was more than a year, and by then the language barrier that prevented me from finding out that what had happened. Moreover, as the Chinese, or the police see there is a foreigner paying attention to some type of event, quickly begin to understand that sheepishly doing there is nothing to see and it is better to see you go, which means a strong contradiction with the group of Chinese onlookers are around.

But since that day I learned that following the sage English proverb that says when there is smoke there is fire here in China, when a group of more than three Chinese together is that something happens, insurance.

some time ago spoke of how the style is making an album of wedding photos in China .

many couples

Here first married in a civil (or at communist as you want) and once you have the blessing of the party, start saving for the feast and take photos.

The time that elapses between when officiating at the wedding until taking pictures and celebrate the holidays can be months or even years, depending on how rich or poor they are the bride and groom.

The fact is that with the arrival of spring, and trees bursting with beautiful flowers, parks have become a flood of happy couples posing for professional photographers.

But this weekend I saw something I had not seen before. They are taken in vans to the parks! Everything is so organized that the same company will rent the costumes (the bride and groom) that both are always white, and is suppose to cut costs, organize tours of several couples and lead them to the park entrance.

For example, the couple waited patiently for the others to finish their session in front of a cherry blossom.

How can you appreciate this, go figure if you have recently married or unmarried, wears his jeans and comfortable shoes that are well below (complete with the adjective that each will make its choice) wedding dress.

Since then, I thought, that this will not have to make you feel anything special. It is assumed that your wedding day (or in this case where you do the photos for prosperity) you're the protagonist.

But in this case what if the other girlfriend is prettier than you? What if the other boyfriend do you prefer?

I think that basically convinced me more than the traditional wedding-party photos-all concentrated on the same day.

Are Tea Laxatives As Bad?

From China Rally for Peter Pan Syndrome

We all know the reputation of Beijingers reckless taxi drivers. When a foreigner comes to China's capital and is mounted on a taxi, the first impression one has is that he will die before leaving the car.

is true that the Chinese have a different way lead more defensive than offensive, and are much calmer at the wheel that since then the English, but also make it impossible maneuvers that drivers from other countries on the planet or pirules that is commonly said.

But this is not the only curious taxi drivers in Beijing. If you go up in a hurry and say, "Look I'm late, so please go a little faster," without thinking twice at the same time you answer "If you want to go fast go underground." To which of course, do not know that answer because I was shocked at the site. And this is not something I've heard once or twice, is a response more than usual.

For example, yesterday, returning from Chaoyang, a huge park in central Beijing, which hosted some events and some beach volleyball during the Olympics tennis last summer, when a taxi driver insisted that we should go underground because we would take less.

Moreover, we said it would be much jam near our house and took us to the nearest metro station and stopped the car. I had to insist that please continue to forward and take us to our development.

Is that so few have wanted to work? Why the effort to throw stones at themselves in the foot customer calling to use public transport?

But sometimes in taxis, those times when they deign to take you to your destination, are also learned interesting things.

I do not follow sports news at all, I have learned, thanks to advertising space in the passenger seat, this weekend (17 to April 19) brings together the greats of Formula 1 in Shanghai in the Grand Prix of China.

And as you see here is our Alonso, but of course, with its Chinese name. And is that everyone here is named according to the local pronunciation.

In this case Alonso and his Renault, he have given a name phonetically similar to how it is pronounced in Castilian English, say his name has no meaning but is a phonetic translation.

Thus, Fernando Alonso, the Chinese call 阿隆索 (pronounced A Long Suo) and call it 雷诺 车队 Renault (pronounced Che Dui Lei Nuo). The last two characters just allude to that Renault is a team.

So how would the Chinese: 阿隆索 加油! A Long Suo Jia You! (A Alonso for them!)

I ever mentioned how children can become some Chinese, they suffer a kind of Peter Pan syndrome that should prevent mature, grown-up so that once and with a car, decide to decorate it as if they were still quinceañeras ... or even toddlers.

But today I bring you a test that perfectly illustrates what I mean. This weekend I found this:

The car was parked next to this Fotel , whatever it whatever that means, because even though I tried searching the internet and I have asked native English speakers, no one is very clear ... that each draw their own conclusions ...

But this finde same week, I've come across another version rather modest. Although the photo does not look very well by the reflection of the glass, you can have an idea:

And is that sometimes it seems that the Chinese living in the world of Neverland.
