now beginning to emerge a new, creative, and powerful generation: Generation B (ici)! This new generation uses the bike as a sport, and as a means of transport for various reasons: physical and mental health, environment, security, planning, economics, energy, tourism, entertainment, and others.

To welcome, support, and call on the new generation B (ici), - and as part of the celebrations of May, National Bike Month - the Puerto Rico Bicycle Coalition presented on Wednesday May 19 , at 8 pm at the Beckett Theater Hall (1008 Ponce de Leon Ave, opposite the bookshop La Tertulia, in Rio Piedras) the event generation B (ici).

The purpose of this event is to foster the discussion, inspiration and, most important of all, action on the bike in PR for a reality our dream of a PR biciamigable.

Event Generation B (ici) is:

1. A forum on the bike where you speak the Architect, Professor, UPR, and member of the local chapter of U.S. Green Building Council Brenda Martinez (bike and sustainable architecture), the artist Jorge "Rito" Cordero (art and bike), and urban rider Dani Fernández (movimieno of urban cycling 'bicijangeo')
2. The premiere of the award-winning documentary PR Veer bicicultura
3. A concert / party with the band Puerto Rican star

The event will be raffling off a bicycle shop Ielow courtesy, and will be giving away copies of the fabulous Momentum magazine and Bicycle bicicultura Times.

Suggested Donation for the event is $ 5.
